I couldn’t believe the price for a new pair of work boots. They want two hundred dollars for a new pair of boots. Piss on that shit. I will not shop in that store anymore. Time to buy at Wally World or somewhere else. Maybe I will look online, but buying boots online is kind of scary. You have to try work boots on to see if they fit the way you want them to. I always put both boots on and walk around a bit to make sure that they are going to be exactly what I want.

Then again, if I buy the exact same boots I have online for cheaper, they should fit the same as the ones I have. I really would like to upgrade to a pair of Red Wing boots but they are really expensive and even more so in the stores. Perhaps I could go try them on in the store and then order what I want online for cheaper. That might work out well for me. Either way I am still going to have to buy new boots for work. I hate shopping for work boots. Oh well, what must be done, must be done.

No Cucumbers

One thing I really don’t like to eat is cucumbers. I don’t like them, no matter what you do to them or how you fix them. I don’t like them raw. I don’t like them marinated in vinegar. I don’t like them pickled, either. When I order a burger at the fast food places I have to ask them to hold the pickles or I have to pick them off with my fingers before I can eat the burger. Cucumbers are a pretty much useless vegetable as far as I’m concerned.

Housework Sucks

I hate housework. If I made just a little more money every month, I would hire a girl to come clean my damn house. I seriously hate cleaning – especially the bathroom. I just don’t even want to deal with it. I need a damn raise so I can get a maid.

The F Word

So all my life I’ve heard that using the word, Fuck, is considered a curse word. But sometimes we all have to refer to that word. So the uptight and overly proper people resorted to calling it “the “F” word.” And everyone is supposed to know that when they hear “the F word” that the person means Fuck.

So, if you know that is what they are saying, what is the difference between them saying the word or not? They have communicated that word to you and you both know the meaning of it. So why cover it up? That is like lying, in my book.

Medical Shows

Over the years there have been a lot of good TV dramas based on hospitals and doctors. When I was a kid I remember a show called Ben Casey and Dr. Kildare. Then there was Dr. Marcus Welby. Later there was ER and now Grey’s Anatomy. A lot of good shows, with great actors and good writers.

Tried my best to listen to some new tunes tonight. I don’t know what has happened to music. There is so much talent out there, but the new stuff making it onto albums and being release just sounds like crap. I really don’t like the noise. Maybe I’m getting old – I don’t know. I just can’t find much new music worth a crap.

Cannot wait to watch the season premiere of Sons of Anarchy. My girlfriend got me hooked on this show 3 years ago. I really dig it – even though I know that real life bikers are not like that. Its still a nice change to see stories about bikers that make them seem like real people instead of the comical neanderthals most of the movies and TV shows make them out to be.

Here it is the first day of September. I don’t usually like the first day of the month. All my bills are due on the first of the month except for my car insurance, which Thank God!, is not due until the 20th each month. So the first two weeks of every month mean that I am broke and have to wait to get some fun money until i get the next paycheck.

This month, the Labor Day weekend actually means I get a day off – with pay. So I can relax next Monday and not worry about the paycheck being short on the 15th. That helps.
